Easy Tea Cookies

2 cups flour
2 sticks softened butter
4 T. sugar
2 T. chopped nuts

Filling: any of the following
chocolate icing
whipped vanilla
buttercream or cream cheese icing

Mix all of the above ingredients together. Roll into 1 inch balls. Press down and make a thumb print in the middle of the cookie. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 20-22 minutes at 300. Let cool before moving to wax or parchment paper. After cookie is cooled add filling.
