Party Ryes (aka Hanky Panks)

1 lb hamburger
1 lb sausage
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic and/or onion powder (your preference)
1 loaf of party rye bread

Brown hamburger and sausage, oregano and garlic/onion powder together and drain. Add Velveeta cheese, stir until melted. Spread on party rye bread. (If not using right away, place in freezer until ready to eat.) Place under broiler on cookie tray until cheese melts and bubbles.

While it's not quite the same, you can also place the dip in a crockpot and serve with the party rye bread on the side. It's still delicious!
