Fresh Strawberry Pie

(Can substitute peaches for the strawberries)

Every June, you could count on a Strawberry pie at the Ramseys. This is a delicious taste of summer! It's also versatile - if you don't have strawberries, just use peaches!

3Tbls. Strawberry jello (if using peaches use peach jello)

3 Tbls. corn starch

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 qt strawberries

1 (9inch) baked pie shell

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and water in saucepan. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Add gelatin, stirring to dissolve. Stir in strawberries. Pour into pie shell. Refrigerate to chill.
