“Pizza Hut” Pizza Crust

The Ramseys loved making homemade pizzas. This is your chance to experiment with toppings!

2 Tbls. yeast

2/3 cup warm water

2 tsp. sugar

2 cup cold water

3 Tbls. corn oil

2 Tbls. sugar

1/4 tsp. garlic salt

1/2 tsp. oregano

6 ½ -7 cup flour

Favorite toppings and cheese

Sprinkle yeast over warm water. Stir in 2 tsp. sugar. Let set for 5 minutes or until bubbly. Combine next 5 ingredients with 1/2 cup flour. Beat until it forms a smooth batter. Add yeast and remaining flour until dough is workable. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until doubled. Punch down shape to fit two 15” round pizza pans that have been greased with 1/4 cup oil and dusted with cornmeal. Let rise 20 minutes. Spread on your favorite toppings and bake at 425⁰ for 15-20 minutes.
