1/2 cup brown or white sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 t. vanilla
1 cup pecans, broken into pieces
pie shell
pecan halves (for top)
Mix eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, and broken nuts. Pour filling in pie shell. Decorate with remaining pecan halves. Bake at 10 minutes at 450 then 35 minutes at 350. Chill and serve with whipped cream. Makes a 9-in. pie.
