This was always a delicious and easy breakfast to make for sleepovers with cousins or friends. You can put the ingredients together the day before and just put it in the oven to bake in the morning. You can also double the recipe and make it in a cookie sheet
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 (8 count) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup frozen hash browns, thawed or a grated baked potato
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
5 eggs, beaten
¼ cup milk
½ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)
In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain off excess fat. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place in an ungreased 12 inch pizza pan with the points toward the center. Press over bottom and up sides to form a crust. Sprinkle with sausage and potatoes. Top with cheddar cheese. In bowl, beat together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour into crust. Sprinkle Parmesan over all. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
