Idaho Potato Cake

1 cup butter (soft)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup cold mashed potatoes
1 t. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 t. baking soda
1 cup milk
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar til fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating in between. Blend in potatoes and vanilla. Combine dry ingrediants and add alternating with milk. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
