Smugie Pie

2 pieces of bread
6 pepperonis
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
2 T pizza sauce
butter

Place empty pie iron in fire. While iron is pre-heating, butter bread and talk to the people around you. After 4-5 minutes, remove and open iron. Lay open iron on picnic table. Place one piece of bread butter side down. Add 1/2 pizza sauce, then pepperonis and cheese, then remainder of sauce. Top with second slice of bread, butter side towards God. Reassemble pie iron. Place in fire. Heat 20 seconds per side, then check if bread is golden. If yes, enjoy your delicious smugie pie. If you can still see the glossy butter, heat longer. If both sides are charred to a crisp black color, don't panic as it happens to the best of us. Try again.
